Town mayor ‘accusing HSE of telling lies’

Newly elected Mayor of Castlebar, Independent councillor Michael Kilcoyne, has accused the Health Service Executive of “telling lies” in relation to a vast reduction in hours being allocated for cleaning services at Mayo General Hospital. 5,000 pharmacy jobs could be lost

A Westmeath pharmacist has warned that up to 5,000 pharmacy jobs could be lost thanks to the decision of the Minister for Health to cut payments to pharmacists for providing medicines and advice to patients on the community drugs schemes by 36 per cent.
